Inasal is a Hiligaynon word which means "inihaw or grilled". A lot of Filipinos are fan of grilled foods like barbeque, roast chicken, and even vegetables. One of the favorite grilled dishes is chicken. In the rise of a various food establishments offering inasal, I tried dining in Chicken Deli located in SM North Edsa.
Chicken Deli which is a shorter term for Chicken Delicious was established in Bacolod on 1983. Their love for inasal made Bacolod the home of this delicous dish that every Filipino loves.
Bringing this delicous local cuisine to Manila, Chicken Deli is now open in two branches in Manila. One is located in North Edsa and the other one is in Recto.
I do recommend their chicken inasal and grilled liempo. For sure, you will crave for more and eat as many rice as you can. They offer kanin-all you can promo. You don't have reason to go on a diet when you dine in here.
You may also try their pork sisig. This dine-in-resto really offers a lot of option and their food are affordable. Whether it is for lunch or dinner, you'll have several dishes to choose from.
The Filipino Lifestyle is not promoting Chicken Deli. This post is just a story of my dining experience when I got hungry after shopping at SM Annex North Edsa. :)
